Boracay Airports
There are two airport routes to Boracay island, Kalibo airport and Caticlan airport. The Caticlan airport route is recommended, since there is only a two to five minute land transfer to the boat jetty to Boracay island. The Kalibo airport route, on the other hand, is not recommended, since the Kalibo airport is located further away from Boracay island than the Caticlan airport, entailing a two hour land transfer to the boat jetty to Boracay island. The Kalibo airport route also requires earlier times for return flights due to the longer land transfer time, which shortens the amount of time that you will be spending on Boracay on the last day of your stay. Once the new international terminal is constructed at Kalibo airport, however, this route will be the only one for international flights to Boracay.
Caticlan Airport Route

- Fastest flight times (approximately 35 minutes)
- Fastest land transfers to Catilcan Boat Jetty (around 2 - 5 minutes)
- Most flights and carriers (approximately 30 flights a day)
- Newer, smaller planes (ranging from around 35 to 64 seats)

- Zest Air (formerly Asian Spirit) Departure Lounge at Caticlan Airport (open-sided departure lounge for any departing passenger near runway with souvenirs, food, drinks, and close views of take off)
Kalibo Airport Route

- Longest flight times (approximately 1 hour)
- Longest transfers to Caticlan Boat Jetty (around 2 hours)
- Less flights and carriers (around 2 - 4 flights a day)
- Older, larger planes (as many as 150 seats)
- International flights planned
